Dr. Anderson Visits for Black History Month
On February 1st our superintendent, Dr. Anderson, paid a visit to Jardine Elementary. She came to kick of Black History Month and taught a lesson on the topic to Ms. Shinn's third grade scholars. Ms. Shinn said, "During her lesson, she talked about people and events that have helped to shape our world and more specifically, our community. She discussed people who have helped to pave the way for her to have the career she has and for me to have the career I have. It was very inspiring and enlightening, and I am so glad my students had the opportunity to experience that lesson given by her."
Classes will continue to celebrate Black History throughout the month of February. We are so glad our scholars had the wonderful opportunity to learn from Dr. Anderson.
